BOCAS DEL TORO, Panama - is a Quaint, Colorful Funky Archipelago (a group of a bunch of islands) on the Caribbean / Atlantic Coast of Panama – JUST South of the Costa Rican border. This point makes it a perfect run for non-residents living in Costa Rica on a Tourist Visa needing their 90-Day Tourist Visa run (which you MUST stay out 72 hours!!!)!
I started this website (now called & at - http://BocasDelToroGuide.com) out of my LOVE of Bocas del Toro, Panama (I loved it SOOOO MUCH that I'd been 9 times!!!) plus I LOVE gatherin/sharin information AND I want to do my part to help others have a GREAT TIME in Bocas del Toro, Panama AND help the people of Bocas SUCCEED & grow (though not so much Bocas looses it's charm!!)!!

Well in my opinion i like going to the pacific side of panama, david panama is easy to get to and only 25 miles from the costa rican border, offers, top rate medical care, clubs and bars 24 hour restaurants and shopping and all at half the price of costa rica unlike over priced bocas del toro, bambu hostel in david panama specializes in 72 hour visa run and offers specials for the border run crowd http://www.bambuhostel.com
